I have my own IP encoder, fed with an HD-SDI input.
I want to be able to access that stream in Kodi.
Is there a way to simply add the IPTV channel (encoder IP:port) to Kodi?
Thanks

But I will I still need a backend to activate the Live TV feature, right?
Ok.. got it .
1. Place the IP address in a txt file with.strm extension.
2. Place that file in a source directory
3. Play file.

Are we dealing with just a single stream? If so it makes no sense to use the PVR features - just stick the URL in a .strm file and play it through Videos -> Files. If you have more than one you could create a simple playlist for the pvr.iptvsimple addon and use that.
