Importing Kodi backup to Raspberry PI2
#1
So i've searched for this all over and for my surprise i couldn't find an answer.
I just got my new raspberry pi 2, installed OpenELEC, everything is up and running.
Now instead of sitting and downloading all the plugins, changing all the tricks and tweaks i made on Kodi on my macbook, i want to simply export these and import it into my OpenELEC kodi on my raspberry pi.

I already made a backup using the backup addon, what now?

Thanks for the help.

Put the backup folder in a location that you can get to from the Pi install, like on a USB flash drive or a network location. Then use the restore option in the Backup add-on on the Pi.

if you used OpenELECs backup function in the settings addon, simply put the backup tar file in the backup samba share on the new device and restore with openelec's restore function
