Hi,

Does anyone know how to use xbmcplugin.addDirectoryItem to add a directory to a music addon with a separate skin on it. I have used xbmcplugin.addDirectoryItem for addons that have no specific skin but the normal xbmc skin that is being used.

you cannot use custom skins for plugins

those are scripts. scripts and plugins are two different things

Please explain the difference of them. Why do we can't use custom skin in plugins?

plugin is nothing more than creating a file structure and the skin decided how it looks

script can create their own skin files
