I use Pi 2 with openelec 5.08 and kodi 14.2. The aeon nox skin is installed. Sound over hdmi is Working.

I would like to use an usb soundcard - audio2dj to listen music collection in stereo over an amplifier.

Usb soundcard is connected on boot. But I cannot see any ALSA driver.

How do i get the external usb soundcard recognized and running?

Is it not listed in the system settings audio output?

I just plugged my usb soundcard in and selected alsa from the audio output dropdown menu.

No.. only hdmi and analoge is listed.

If it doesn't show up, then it suggests it is not supported by OpenELEC.
Might be best to ask in OpenELEC forum, as alsa driver support is a distribution, not a Kodi issue.
