Suggest add IRC Web Client to kodi.tv for a live chat window?

How about adding a simple IRC Web Client to kodi.tv website for real-time support via a chat window?

Such as OpenELEC's website have here
http://openelec.tv/support/chat

OpenELEC.tv website uses qwebirc
http://www.qwebirc.org/

Some popular and more modern alternatives are these, with KiwiIRC probably being most flexible:
https://kiwiirc.com
https://github.com/prawnsalad/KiwiIRC
https://tt-rss.org/redmine/projects/tt-irc/wiki
https://github.com/atheme/iris
https://github.com/cjstewart88/nirc
https://code.google.com/p/webchat2/

To be honest, I've been avoiding to do this for a variety of reasons, but will take it in to consideration once we provision our new server we recently got donated.
We are also working on a new main website (complete redesign, different structure, better information) which this could tie in to.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Cool! Maybe just create a dedicated subdomain for it like http://chat.kodi.tv to keep it separate.

Using a subdomain means you don't have to integrate it, kind of like http://wiki.kodi.tv

we could also setup our own Jabba server which would allow nicer integration into many PIM systems
