Hi has anyone had this problem or know what the problem could be? Whenever I try using my android TV box on my TV upstairs my TV turns off whenever I click on the Kodi icon and sometimes even in the main area it's really frustrating it a Toshiba 1080 P 120 hz LED TV any help would be appreciated as it's the only TV it doesn't want to work on.

This is purely a guess. Sounds like it doesn't like the HDMI output, perhaps try changing the settings in Android setup or change the 120Hz settings in the TV's settings, or just get a different TV... Probably the set is really particular about timings and just doesn't recognize that the HDMI input is active and shuts off because of that. Good luck.
