Unstable Addon Breaks Kodi even with re-install of Kodi
#1
I am a new Kodi user. Before I realised an addon was labeled unstable, I had already selected install. Kodi now crashes repeatedly and will not restart. I deleted Kodi, and reinstalled, but it still crashes as soon as opening.

Apparently the addon that broke Kodi is still somewhere on my machine. How do I get rid of it and get Kodi to run again?

Macbook Pro IOS 10.10.2

Thanks

ios 10.10.2 on a macbook? I think you are in the wrong section - sounds like you are having OSX. - moved...

have a look in:
Code:
/Users/<your_user_name>/Library/Application Support/Kodi/addons

and remove the folder which is named after the addon you want to remove.

Memphiz, you are correct it is OS X. And, your recommendation above is correct, Thanks!

Problem solved after googling instructions on how to completely remove applications from OS X. Just dropping Kodi in the trash bin does not remove the add on files associated with Kodi. I uninstalled Kodi, removed all the associated files from the Library, and then did a new install. It works again.
