Ipad Air, iOS 8.3

I recently did a "hard restart" of my iPad & it stopped recognizing the Kodi server from my laptop.
No issues with the same app on my iOS 7 iPhone 4. Even after reinstalling both the app and Kodi, the iPad app simply refuses. Zeroconf is enabled as is Http control within Kodi.
Up until the hard restart, the iPad app has been flawless.
Does anyone have any idea what may have caused this, and now the total refusal of the app to "see" Kodi from my laptop?

I also entered the IP, ports, etc from within the working iPhone app, into the iPad app, & still, nothing...

Here on my iPhone 6+ with iOS 8.3 no connection possible....:-(
