KODI (Helix 14.2) stopped working!
#1
I was downloading an add on when KODI got an error and stopped working according to Windows. I can't get it working again. Any suggestions, I had everything working the way I want it and hate to have to start again from scratch. Or do i have to delete KODI and start all over again? If I get the pre packaged KODI that just came out, can I add other add ons that may not be included in the package? Thanks.

Just to supplement my information from above: I'm running on Windows Vista 32 bit. I don't have a log as I can't get back into kodi. Thanks.

You dont need to get back into Kodi....take a look at

Code:
%appdata%/kodi/kodi.log

to provide the logfile.

Without a log, it's hard to help. Which addon did you want to install?

Thank you Dave for answering. I just gave up on it and deleted the whole thing afterall and reinstalled Kodi 14.2. I don't remember which add on I was trying to download, but it was from a repository that I had just updated as I got a message yesterday to update. There were several new repos on there that I wanted to see what they were like so I was enabling several. Now the situation is that I can't get the new one to operate properly, my Fillmon Tv addon which I love used to work beautifully and now won't do anything plus the Project Free tv did not import all components properly. I was able to get the log files so and uploaded them. When this didn't work I went to delete 14.2 and installed 15.0 and still have the same problem. Here are the links for the log files: for 14.2 [url] http://xbmclogs.com/par0zcpk8
[/url] and also for when I installed 15.0 http:// http://xbmclogs.com/pfk6gegrc I promise not to touch it anymore till I hear from you. When I erased the first 14.2, I also deleted all files pertaining to Kodi as I read to do that here on the forum for someone who had a similar problem. However in going from the second 14.2 install to the 15 I didn't delete the files from the second 14.2. Hope you can help me with this, your help is much appreciated, thanks, Ann (marcianna74).
