I am experience an issue with both beta 1 and 2 where recently added media would not be shown in my libraries. I have 'Update Library on Startup' enabled but had to manually search for new content via the context menu on all my media sources for it to be found. No issue with kodi 14.X.

I am using Windows Network (SMB) to file share.

Cold you try 2 things, please:

1. enable "wait for network"-option in Openelec settings
2. try using Confluence as a skin, to be sure, the issue isn't skin related.

Okay, I acquired another movie for testing with the following results:

1. Enabled this setting, all it did was prolong OpenELEC booting and still didn't update the library unless I went to the source and scanned for new content.
2. Yes, Confluence is the current skin.
