Is this windows problem going to be fixed in isengard? Or should I tell my users to just turn off DXVA2?

If someone is able to make a fix, then we will try to include it in an Isengard update. However, I don't think there is a fix the works at this moment.

Looks like the fix was merged into the master branch 3 days ago. Has anyone tested with a nightly yet?

Edit: Looks like it made it into 15.2RC2

Confirmed fixed?

In which version?

It's still happening for me, in 15.1

Not to be rude, but did you really not read that or the other thread?

Tested with 15.RC2 and can confirm the fast forward issue has been fixed, kind of, although it's still nowhere near as good as it was in the last version of XBMC.

The rewind issue remains the same.

Open another thread ... it seems to only affect your hardware / software configuration. As the others reported the issue fixed.

Edit: And obviously open this thread with logfiles - we don't own so many crystal balls.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.
