Is this windows problem going to be fixed in isengard? Or should I tell my users to just turn off DXVA2?

If someone is able to make a fix, then we will try to include it in an Isengard update. However, I don't think there is a fix the works at this moment.

I tested it in 15.2RC2 and can confirm that the issue has been fixed.

Tested with 15.RC2 and can confirm the fast forward issue has been fixed, kind of, although it's still nowhere near as good as it was in the last version of XBMC.
The rewind issue remains the same.
