Don't show controls during playback for accidental mouse moves
#1
I know Kodi is designed to show the onscreen controls when the user wants to use the mouse during playback of movies.

But, all too often, the mouse is laying around on the sofa (or bed) and any accidental mouse movement due to the user trying to adjust himself for a more comfortable position... there comes the controls again over the movie scene. Situations like this abound. Then a right-button click must be pressed to dismiss the controls and the scene backstepped a little. Over and over.

So. What about [user] defining a mouse movement threshold, both in terms of distance and time?
Only when this limit is crossed the controls are shown.

It's not a all-or-nothing proposition (enable/disable mouse during playback).
What I propose is a definable threshold to try to avoid accidental small mouse movements that trigger the onscreen menus.

Kodi isn't designed for a mouse at all, and the situation you speak of is one of the reasons why we stress that people are supposed to use remote controls and not mice.

For now, you can do this: Alternative keymaps for mice (wiki)
