No interest at all in the projector (SD resolution and probably dim and not very nice) - but ignore that and that's not a bad price at all for what is effectively a Haswell i3 NUC with built in WiFi and Bluetooth.

thats what I thought Noggin, I looked around for prices for NUC and Gigabyte i3 units and none came close to this price. Yeah the projector is a gimmick.
Seriously can't believe we getting these prices at long last. America always have the cheapest hardware, about time we get to join the fun!
though nowadays who needs more powerful than a Celeron 2957U?

just checked amazon for haswell i3 NUC (without wifi and bluetooth)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Intel-D34010WYKH...B00IRXEBR0
£226.25

right now for asus chromebox
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00M0M82CY/re...G7S6BYMVXX
£174.84

and this unit, haswell i3 for £160

chromebox has no place now (in the uk) , with the HP 260 G1. seems as though Intel is readying for next evolution of there chips...Skylake

how much further will the prices drop?

we do need to remember when making broad proclamations on recommended devices that prices/availability vary highly by region. The ChromeBox (Asus in particular) has never been a good value outside of the USA (and maybe Canada); the 2957U variant of the HP 260 G1 isn't on clearance here, and still sells for $350+.
