v15 Can't import (or locate) Python libraries
#1
I'm running the Isengard beta (15.0~git20150614.2202-beta2-0vivid) on Ubuntu.

I'm trying to import the xbmc libraries on a Python console, just to see what I can do with them, but so far I simply get ImportErrors telling me there is no such module. I have tried this in both Python2 and 3. Studying the installed files hasn't helped. I have found a reference to the xbmc library in the file /usr/share/kodi/addons/service.xbmc.versioncheck/lib/jsoninterface.py which has it among its imports. So I guess it's there somewhere, just not in my regular user's path.

This seems pretty banal but I'm kinda stuck. Can anybody please point me in the right direction? :-)

the answer is simple, it's not possible :-)

Yeah, ok, thanks. Could you be more explicit, please? It's not possible to.... import the libraries on a console? Import the libraries at all? Using a beta? Anymore? Just the "xbmc" module or all of them? What?
