Raspberry PI 2 limitation or my settings ?
#1
Hello,

I've found a video that the Raspeberry Pi 2 can't play smoothly (i don't know the word in english). It seems that the video is played in slow motion, with big pixels....

It's a MKV I made from a Blu-ray rip, but it's not the first one I make, but it's the first one to have this problem. But, my other PC can read it perfectly.

Here is the information about this file : http://pastebin.com/CbfVYyrR

Is it a limitation of the rPi 2 ? A known issue ? Or simply my settings ?

Looks like you need to buy a vc-1 licence.

Yep, what @trogggy says.

If you look in your kodi.log you should see:
Code:

07:46:51  34.522057 T:1637971008  NOTICE: CDVDVideoCodecFFmpeg::Open() Using codec: SMPTE VC-1
when trying to play VC-1 media without the VC-1 licence.
