I've noticed this issue since XBMC 13 when started to use it in an android box (Minix 8). The issue I'm having is that when creating bookmarks the thumbnail is just black (no screenshot of the movie), the bookmark is created and is functional.

I've tried it in XBMC 13 and Kodi (last version in Android Play Store). Just wondering if maybe this is something others have experienced or something related with my conf.

I can provide any logs if needed.

Bookmarks work fine for me. Can you provide a debug log (wiki) of when you set the bookmark?

Do bookmark thumbnails show up in other skins, such as the default skin, Confluence?

It seems the issue is related with Android 4.4. All screenshots I tried to do are all black. I got a nvidia shield android tv with Android 5.1 and the issue is not present.
Will continue troubleshooting on the Android side.
