@jackiass - can you update to latest version (which will still have the multitouch issue) and post a debug log?
I've added some logging that shows all the features your keyboard reports. I suspect it is reporting something multitouch related which causes the conflict.
I'll get right on it after work!
Hi, like other users who were having lib issues a couple of builds ago, I am unable to run the transmission package.

The transmission daemon fails to load:

transmission-daemon: error while loading shared libraries: libcrypto.so.32: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.

I can't see that either the daemon or the interface program have changed recently, so I assume it must be a change in the kodi build.

Could you please take a look?

Thanks.
I have uploaded new transmission addons in the addons folder.

That's awesome, thank you, but still the same problem.

I have uninstalled the originals script interface and daemon, removed the cached packages and refreshed the addon libraries but get the same results.

Am I downloading from the right area?

I installed the transmission script v0.76 from Program-Add-On's from the kodi add-on repository

and the transmission service 6.0.0 from Unofficial Openelec add-on repository.

Thanks

Edit: I think I need to download from here :

Here is the full log. I installed the latest build 1203. The log is how it looks after a restart and then me using the right button once. The highlight disappeared right after that.

Right here:

Yes...

Downloaded, installed and running. Thank you so much for your help.

Navigating the add-ons from the PROGRAMS menu is always wonky i.e I always have to go in-and-out back-and-forth until the right menu options come up
... has it always been that way?

Thanks again.

No idea, not even sure I understand the issue. When did it become a problem - can you identify the first build that exhibits the problem, and perhaps explain it in more detail (screenshots often help).

Thanks. I've reported to original author and he's commented: https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/8129#i...-161988960

OpenELEC doesn't have evtest. Can you connect the keyboard to a linux machine (Pi running raspbian should be suitable) and run:
Code:
evtest /dev/input/event0

and press some keys (or trigger other bits of keyboard if it has touchpad or similar).
Repeat for event1, event2, event3. @maxnet would like to know how the keyboard uses each of the four reported interfaces.

You may need to run "sudo apt-get install evtest" first if it is not installed.
Another update. Running live TV test for 2.5 hours so far this morning (same 720p channel as before), no issues. Only difference is that I enabled Adjust Refresh Rate. I don't use that in the living room because it causes black screens for a few seconds with Onkyo TX-NR828 AVR and Optoma HD-25e projector while everything readjusts itself. Maybe this is the culprit? I'll continue to let the live TV play out and update if it starts skipping frames. So far though, everything looks and sounds good. I thought it odd that the TV switched to 1080i mode even though the source is 720p. CPU usage is much less than it was before turning on the adjust refresh rate option. That seems to make sense since it only has to generate half as many frames as it did with the display in 1080p mode.

Here is the log in case it matters:
http://sprunge.us/TAdQ
Experience: It's what you get when you were expecting something else.

Would be more useful if debug was enabled...

Would be more useful if debug was enabled...

After I give this test (with adjust refresh rate enabled) another hour or two to see if the problem occurs, I'll disable the adjust refresh rate and capture a debug enabled log for which I know (pretty much 100% confidence) that the problem will occur. I'd first like to see if adjust refresh rate has anything to do with it. zaphod24 has a very similar setup to mine, yet he never experiences the issues. One of the differences in our setups is him having adjust refresh rate enabled. There are other subtle differences, but this one may be the key to this, especially since I've had my test running for three hours with no issue. That is significant in my experience.

EDIT: BTW, so far I'm having good results running OE6 on the living room setup with OMXPlayer disabled. That has been running for 5 hours straight on the same channel as the bedroom setup. I do not have adjust refresh rate enabled in the living room. I think we're getting somewhere now.
Experience: It's what you get when you were expecting something else.
Update, just before reaching the four hour point, it suddenly stopped playback and went back to the main screen. The myth backend messages indicate that the Pi asked to close the stream. This message appeared at the end of dmesg output on the Pi:
[14220.056732] vchiq: 0: ignoring ERROR from callback to service d00c

I don't know what that means exactly, but it appears to have caused OE to stop playback. Everything looked fine until that point. Still almost 4 hours of good playback is something that I haven't seen in a long time. I'm really beginning to think that adjust refresh rate being disabled has something to do with the problems I experience. I'm going to disable refresh rate change, turn on debugging and reboot. Then I will start a live TV playback and stop it when/if problems occur. I will then post the entire log thru pastebinit.

EDIT: As for the 1080i thing, it appears that OE wants to drive that display in that mode all the time for some reason, not just after starting playback. Adjust refresh rate doesn't seem to be the cause of that. I enabled debug logging, turned of adjust refresh rate and rebooted. I'm experiencing audio stutters right off the bat but so far the video looks like it should.
Experience: It's what you get when you were expecting something else.
hi,
is there any option to play in future a DVD over the included Menue (video_ts.ifo) ?

Thanks for your hard work.
