Specifically I'd like to be able to run `tsdiscon` and `shutdown /l` from within Kodi. Ideally from the menu that has the various power options. That way I can log off of my "Media" user and switch to my "Steam" user (to play games) without having to get the keyboard out. I'm going for pure remote control here. Is this possible? I looked for an addon for this -- haven't seen one yet.

Would it be possible to add those buttons to the same menu as the other power buttons (exit, shutdown etc)?
