Picture Quality Tweaks
#1
I recently bought a new LG OLED 9300 TV and since i've had it, i've been really wanting to go into Kodi
and tweak it to make sure that i'm absolutely getting the best quality of program. Does anyone have any really good tweaks?

Kodi is for the most part already tweaked as it's going to get. Your best bet is to actually use a colormeter to tweak your TV.

I would grab some test files and see how they look, as I think the issue is likely with the files from the add-ons you were talking about in the previous thread: http://kodi.tv/media-samples/

Also, for your TV you may want to check out the AVS forum. There will be other owns that will usually have info on callibration settings that will help.

You didn't give your entire model number which includes screen size, but this is the thread for the 55" model http://www.avsforum.com/forum/40-oled-te...802?page=1

Begin by going into your television set configuration (not Kodi) and disable all and any of its "advanced" settings tht was enabled by fault.

Most televisions manufacturer ship their sets with defaults color and tint with "warmer tones" that ruin the picture for color correct purists.

Cheap and simple option is to get a DVD with THX Optimizer and glasses, read http://gizmodo.com/5098917/how-to-calibr...-your-mind
