ISO file memory leek??
#1
Hi guys, i found a serious problem of kodi.

When i play one iso file <Wish.I.Was.Here.2014.iso>, i just play it and stop it again and again. I found that the memory of device increase every time.

I had tested the problem on windows and android tv box, and i got the same result. Kodi was killed on the android device after i did this serval times.

Is this a a memroy leak? It is so bad for the small memroy devices.

It can be fixed?

Best thing you can do to get help is enable debug logging, reproduce the issue and then post again with the log:

dylan_zd, on what platform you're running Kodi? As UnicronBE wrote, a complete debug log is a good idea Wink

https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/7420 might fix it. I've triggered a win32 test that should be on the mirrors (http://mirrors.kodi.tv/test-builds/win32/) in ~1h.

I downloaded file KodiSetup-20150705-0fce430-coverity_719001.exe, but it can not run on my windows 7.

So i use my previous version 14.2-Helix to reproduce the issue. the log file url:

http://xbmclogs.com/pj7we5zzk

I played and stopped <Wish.I.Was.Here.2014.iso> about ten times, and my memory increase from 268.584k to 678.328k.
