In case this helps anyone else or if anyone knows why profiles would make Kodi not work??
error cannot start application
I received this message about a month ago and reformatted my whole PC at the time!
I finally figured out that it was down to the profiles files in userdata. Deleting that makes Kodi work again.
I am using Kodi RC Isengard.
