Rule 1: Never pre-order. Really, never, for nothing. It's pointless...
Rule 2: Don't ask ridiculous "can it..." questions on unpublished devices. You'll get blank stares at best, and vendor (thus of dubious veracity) answers at worst...

WeTek is official sponsors of both OpenELEC and Kodi, and the WeTek Core is Amlogic S905 so while there is no garantee OpenELEC will support officially support ENY EM95 I think we can hold out breaths for OpenELEC support at least one other S905 boxes, the WeTek Core, sooner or later.

I would still not buy a ENY EM95.

Official versions of OpenELEC when it reaches OpenELEC 7.0.0 / Kodi Jarvis 16.2 final will be made available for the WeTek Core. The code for that will be in the official OpenELEC GitHub repo then as well.

I'm compiling unofficial OpenELEC 6.95.5, Kodi Jarvis test builds for the Core at the moment.

Now with WeTek being an OpenELEC sponsor, who do you think are going to get official OpenELEC supported first for future AMLogic Hardware going forward into the future ?
