I have the following setup at home:
KodiBuntu on IntelNUC with USB-CEC Adapter
Denon AVR (with other devices connected to it like PS3,FireTV Stick,...)
Samsung TV
My Kodibuntu installation also has an openHAB installation as I want to use this to switch between different "scenes" (like "Play PS3", "Watch TV", "Watch with Kodi",...).
My issue is that if I use the inbuilt Kodi CEC support I cannot use cec-client any more as the device is locked (which I could use to turn on fe. the AVR and PS3).
If I deactivate the Kodi CEC support my remote doesn't work anymore (as it also uses CEC).
Is there a possibility to solve this issue (f.e. can I somehow send commands to the inbuilt Kodi libCEC binding so that I can turn on/off different devices using CEC) ?
Additionally it would be great to also use other functions of libCEC like quering the power state of devices.
