Release script.USChannels
#1
Updated version of script.USChannels - including fixes for the free USTVNow channels in my test repo:
https://github.com/learningit/repository...odi_addons

It is available under Program Addons. Time shown on title bar may not be correct for your timezone, but listing should be for current times. I'm looking into this.
As far as I know the streams in this addon are legal and from the original websites.

I just installed this and put in my USTVnow credentials but only five of my actual USTVnow channels(the free ones) load. Am I missing something?

Happy days, learningit!
Works perfectly with my free account

Bitterkitten - Learningit's add-on is intended for the widest audience possible, therefore, he only coded for the free channels. You'd have to do your own update to the code in order to see all the channels that are included in your premium account.

Widest audience possible? I think there are tons of people that have/use a premium account. By not adding support for premium accounts, you're thinning out your audience. Just my opinion. Learningit should add this information in the description so there wouldn't be any confusion. Good start on your program though!

It wasn't written for the "widest audience". It was written in about half an hour and that's what got done.
I write addons to kill time - the same way some folks do crosswords or sudoku , nothing more, nothing less.

Do you have any plans to add support for the rest of the channels in the future? I have a premium account as well and would like to use your script.

Have you tried PseudoTV Live? I'm pretty sure Lunatixz has already done the premium channel mapping, though I haven't looked. He's usually ahead of me on these things.

I installed it a couple days ago but the USTVnow autotune does not work unless you have donated. I sent him a donation and am waiting for an account to give it a try.

This isn't true... Autotune works regardless of donation.

I get the guidedata update failed! Message when I try to use autotune with ustvnow checked off. Per the forums here i was told that it is because guidedata is a donation only feature. I made a thread in your ptvl thread asking this question and was given that answer. That is incorrect?

You probably want to move this thread to the PTLive support thread. No is looking here for these questions

Sorry, I was just replying to your suggestion. I've got PTVL working now. Thanks for your help, I hope you continue to develop your script.

It is a program addon. You might want to enable debug logging and put the whole log on xbmclogs . The above doesn't say much.

edit:
I also installed it on a OSMC (KODI 14) and it's working fine there. That's what is key anyways. I only wanted to try it out on the laptop before trying it on a TV.
