Hi,
I'd like to create a simple remote interface to Kodi that is able to build a smart playlist and then send it to Kodi to be played. The remote interface would be a physical device (no screen), connected by Bluetooth. If at all possible, I would prefer that the communication between the device and Kodi be only one way (i.e. like a standard IR remote), so just want to be able to send 'play x tracks of n genre in random order'.
Is this something that JSON-RPC would be able to do?
