MrMC is the top dev for Kodi and OS X (and others). If he's asking for samples and logs then it would be very worth it to provide them.

Checked if the split file is showing green and it is. Log shows playing of the full episode, and then playing the extracted split file. Both green, advancedsettings.xml without line to "fix" the issue. Wetransfer link has split file and kodi.log
