Release Food Network Canada - Canada Only

(2015-09-06, 17:49)nmirza Wrote: Another minor problem. There was a show listed in the plugin till yesterday - bake with Anna Olson. It is no longer available on any of my kodi installs in food network canada plugin. Not that it can't play but rather it's not in the list of shows.

I might have a hunch as to why that is. Today, September 6, a new season of the show started. So I'm thinking maybe the website code got updated to accommodate this.

The show is still available on the website btw just not in the plugin.

V1.0.4 in my git:
https://github.com/learningit/plugin.vid...ork.canada
Fixes the issue above

If you have installed my test repo:
https://github.com/learningit/repository...odi_addons

You should get an "auto-update" or "update available" message, depending on your "auto-update" setting. You may need to do a "Check for updates" to see the new version.

Hi, the bake with Anna Olson show has disappeared again since the past couple of days. Would be great if you could update the add on to bring back the show.

This app is amazing. Thank you so much. I know the show Eat Street is available on the website. Any chance that can show up in the app?

Probably not. I grab the full episodes from a page that Food Network creates. If it isn't on that, it doesn't show up in the add-on.

However it does not work on my Raspberry Pi 2.... any thoughts?

All answers start with a debug log. Please enable libcURL and ffmpeg verbose logging and upload to either pastebin.com or xbmclogs.com.

Howdy,

Thanks for the great app. my wife has enjoyed it very much since we cut the cable cord.

I have been having playback issues as of late. I also noticed that the food network website has added advertisement videos to the beginning of the stream... not sure if that is the contributing factor.

I hope it helps, i uploaded the log file to http://xbmclogs.com/poxcaptm9

If i can assist in any way please let me know

Cheers,
MH

Needs a total rewrite and will no longer function outside of Canada.
I'll get to it next time I'm in Canada.

Please read my previous post. What's the point of you telling me something that I told you is not working is not working?

My whole quote is:
"Needs a total rewrite and will no longer function outside of Canada.
I'll get to it next time I'm in Canada."

I believe "needs" is also a future tense in Canadian English. The "I'll get to it next I'm in Canada" written 3 days ago should convey something as well.
We all know what happens when you "assume".
