Hi,

I'm sure this has happened to someone else, but I can't find the solution.

Occasionally when I try to open a TV channel or a IPTV TV link, Kodi starts to try and open it and the "working..." window appears in the bottom right hand corner. This keeps on going and going even though the channel won't open or the link is dead.

How can I set it to time-out after, say 20 seconds?

Try adding "|connection-timeout=5" to the end of the URL you're trying to play.
