Red Line Down Center of Screen
#1
I did a fresh system install and a fresh install of Kodi yesterday. I noticed this morning that when I play back videos that are 720p or higher that there is a red line running down the center of the screen. The only addons I've installed are a couple of skins and the Trackt.tv script. My screen is running at a resolution of 1920x1080p since it's on a large TV, but I've never had this problem in previous installations. Any suggestions?

eeps, sounds more like hardware than software issues. But to allay hardware fears, do you get a desktop on the TV without the red line (no Kodi), if you windowed Kodi (keyboard \ )would the read line still be in the exact same place?

It's possible your gfx driver is playing games, make sure it works well, perhaps an update? I don't see this as a Kodi issue at the moment. If you suspect hardware issues with the TV give the bezel a smack on top.

Maybe try disabling hardware acceleration?

Also having this same issue. Only when I stream videos from add ons. Not when playing videos from a folder on hard drive. No Idea what it could be. Reinstalled kodi with no success. Also reinstalled video drivers thinking it could possibly be the culprit. Any info would be helpful, thanks.

Nevermind, after installing a new radeon driver, this "demo mode" was on by default. So disable demo mode. Easy

"Seems this is a feature of ATI. refer to http://www.neoseeker.com/Articles/Hardwa....11/2.html

disable Avivo demo mode"
