PVR stuttering seems to be fixed.

What platform is this? Could you share a flac that's causing this?

Hello,

Rewind still does not work. It's just as bad as before. I tested this on Windows 7 using the Aug 5th build posted.

I have the same experience. Rewind worked fine in 14.2.

So are logs needed for the rewind issue? I thought that was already a confirmed bug in 15 that has supposedly been addressed according to the change log.

If this is helpful, here are my logs for the rewind issue. The problem happens when HW acceleration is on, and doesn't happen when HW acceleration is off. I did separate logs for HW acceleration on and off, if comparing the two would be helpful. I'm using the August 9th build on Windows 10, but the exact same problem happens on my Windows 8.1 PC and Windows 7 HTPC (all with vastly different hardware configurations).

This is the log when rewinding is failing with HW acceleration on. I start rewinding at 15:33:16.

This is the log when rewinding is working with HW acceleration off. I start rewinding at 15:38:33.

The rewind/fastforward bug is very much confirmed, but it's still a good thing to include logs when reporting about it. There might be a case where two users have the same visual symptoms, but with two different technical causes.

Ok sure: http://goo.gl/5Lt2nS

I noticed also a LOT of warnings in the logs that I never saw when using Helix. Not sure though is these warnings were present in 15.0.

I tried RC1 today and rewind still does not work properly. I can find no mention of this fixed in these notes: https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/issues?q=mi...rd+15.1%22

Fast forward works fines, as it always has. Can someone please elaborate on why this obvious defect has been overlooked?

thx
