Ive upgraded my MINIX X8 box to 15.0 but now not getting any sound??

Anyone else had similar Problems

It is not a Kodi problem. It is a Minix issue on the latest firmware. If you have headphones plugged in, HDMI audio will be cut-off automatically. If you don't have headphones plugged in and don't have audio out on HDMI, then your headphones jack is broken. There are few reports of this on Minix forum. Minix is adding a on/off switch for headphones output which may fix this issue for broken jacks.

I am on minix x5, recently upgraded to 15.0, was on 15.0 alpha. There is no sound for the initial 20 or so seconds on most videos. The video progresses with no sound. With the alpha I did not have that problem. I am not on the minix latest firmware but the one before that.

Luckly i still have the MINIX Version of XBMC

I find it strange considering MINIX are now a sponsor of KODI?
