audio : Harman Kardon AVR235 connected with optical cable (toslink)

My system configuration - AUDIO OUTPUT :

Output configuration = BEST MATCH
Limit sampling rate (KHZ) = 192.0
Stereo upmix = YES
Maintain original volume on downmix = YES
Boost centre channel when downmixing = 10 DB
Resample quality = HIGH
Keep audio device alive = ALWAYS
Play GUI sounds = ONLY WHEN PLAYBACK STOPPED
Enable passthrough = YES
Passthrough output device = ALSA: DEFAULT (SND_RPI_HIFIBERRY_DIGI S/PDIF)
Dolby digital (AC3) Capable receiver = YES
- Enable dolby digital transcoding = YES
DTS capable receiver = YES

When I play music or movie, I'm very very very pleased with results - sound is superb. I can feel the power from speakers. It is really nice listen to the music (or watch movie). On "Harman Kardon AVR235" lights up : "DOLBY DIGITAL" and "DOLBY PRO LOGIC II". Everything seems to be OK. But, sadly there is one major problem.

When I pause music or movie (or when I streaming media from internet, when connection breaks down - even for a second) and then unpause again, the sound becomes much poorer. On "Harman Kardon AVR235" DOLBY PRO LOGIC II light goes out. Light for DOLBY DIGITAL is still on. Same thing happens when, song ends and continue next song. Therefore, sound on first track is superb (DOLBY DIGITAL=on, DOLBY PRO LOGIC II=on), but after the jump to the new track sound became very poor (DOLBY DIGITAL=on, DOLBY PRO LOGIC II=off !?!?)

I can solve this problem only, if I go to the audio settings and disable "Stereo upmix" for a second or two (on "Harman Kardon AVR235" DOLBY DIGITAL goes off and DOLBY PRO LOGIC II goes on) and then again enable.
The same effect (and procedure) is with "Enable dolby digital transcoding" - disabe/enable - sound is perfect again.

Obviously, there is no way to do these changes in settings after every jump to next track or on every pause.
So question is - is this a bug or a feature? Wink

Please, can anybody help me ...

Thx.
