installed the latest kodi 15.0 on my mac book air. as soon as i started instead of a pointer I get a Warning Mouse not supported please disable. Is there something i'm missing or is the track pad for a MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2011) not supported?

It's whatever skin you are using. Kodi's default skin, Confluence, supports mice/trackpads.
