Enable the UPnP server to serve the folder tree of unscanned audio files
#1
Hello, I am using KODI by running XBIAN on my Raspberry Pi 2.

I have a usb hard drive with a perfect folder structure that holds a lot of songs with completely messy MP3-Tags.
I want severall UPnP controllers (phone, AVR, girl friends phone, tablet, ...) to access the UPnP Media Server inside KODI to listen to these songs.

Therefore I want the KODI UPnP server to serve the nice and tidy folder tree but I dont want it to scan the files because a) the result would be unusable crap anyways and b) I have hundreds of thousends of files and very little resources. I also need no transcoding or meta data or anything.

The video folder tree (harddrive directory structure) is served by the UPnP server but not the folder tree of the music.

So my request is: Please enable the UPnP server to serve the folder tree of unscanned audio files.

Thanks
Heiner
