I am using kodi 15.0 on a yoga 2 pro under lubuntu/cinnamon. Sound works fine in videos, but when i try to play music with kodi nothing happens. When I click on the same mp3 files outside kodi they play fine. What is wrong? This used to work fine just a few days ago....

No idea ... why don't you just read: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=233369 before wasting everybody's time and not posting any logs?

Thanks for the tip. The problem turned out to be a USB flash drive that confused kodi. Once it was removed, all is fine.
