Please forgive my ignorance but I searched here and Google and could not find the answer I was looking for.

I am deploying overseas for a bit and want to take a chromebox loaded with kodi. From my understanding, certain countries block or track the stuff I want to stream. If dual booted, can I setup a VPN in chrome OS and it work on Kodi? Does anyone suggest a good VPN for Chrome OS? Thank you in advance.

I'm using privateinternetaccess, not sure if it's appropiate to post the link here so you're going to Google it. I've have it for 3wks and so far I'm happy.
Mainly because it's cheap.
I assume you dual boot with OE? If yes, then openVPN works with both Chrome OS and OE. If you're not sure how to set it up, follow up with a post and I will share my configurations.

Hi there, I have the same set up, dual boot with open elec. I set up the configuration s on the chrome side but kodi is not connected to VPN, how do I set it up on kodi side please?
