but it appears translucent and overlayed above the Kodi homescreen. As soon as I move the mouse or press a keyboard button, the focus shifts to Kodi and the translucent overlay of Firefox (iceweasel) disappears. I'm developing a Firefox add-on to navigate and enter text with an Xbox 360 gamepad and will install another kiosk add-on to ensure Firefox launches full-screen.

Launcher command is /usr/bin/xinit with argument: $(which iceweasel).

Linked image shows htop tree output. My question: how can I launch Firefox/Iceweasel, have it takeover mouse and keyboard, and then upon its closure return mouse/keyboard to kodi? Thanks
