System: Ubuntu 14.04, Kodi nightly builds, Mythtv 0.27, ceton infinity 6

Problem: Intermittent problem on some channels for live tv. On those channels I get pixellation and audio stuttering.

Work Around: If I pause the video for a few seconds and resume playing the pixellation and audio stuttering disappears.

Comment: On mythtv frontend there is no pixellation and audio stuttering for same channels.

Is there a way to automate my workaround on a channel by channel basis for live tv?

Nightly builds are intented for testing. If you need stable kodi you should install stable version as Helix or Isengard.
Else there is no workaround as you mentionned. This is caused by buffering issue or bad synchro. You could try to enable "MPEG-TS demuxing" of the addon from the settings in advanced tab.

I went to the nightly builds because of this behaviour in the stable distribution (also to get closed caption support). I was hoping one of the fixes in the nightly builds would fix things.
