Hi people new to forums but yeah I have tried everything aswel and then today updated drivers software on Windows10 and then in kodi go to video setting/acceleratio and under allow hardware acceleration *DVXA2 . Do this in settings level expert

Turn this off reboot and try ? .Hope my first post helps.

Yup, that narrows it down... no black holes here.

Go into settings>video>acceleration>render method>choose software and disable hardware

Same problem here I have windows 10 and I have used kodi for about a week or so with NO problems. Now everytime I try to play a video it has sound but the screen is frozen. It worked perfectly last night and just started... I dont know how to fix this? I watched a few videos last night then all of a sudden it stopped working and now nothing works
