First of all Hi all guys !!

Excuse me for my poor english . . .

I have a problem with KODI 15 ISENGARD :

I see movies from an external HDD of 1 TB USB 3.0 connected in a 3.0 USB port of my pc . . . I can see the content with no problems, but when i select EXIT from the shutdown menu, in the home screen, KODI Freezes and the shut down is extremely slow ; it takes about 3 minutes . . .

I tried to press ALT + F4 and KODI exit , but the process stay in background for minutes . . .

Also i tried to unplug the External HDD, while the program is shuting down, and it's close instantly !!! The problem , i suppose, is on the unmounting HDD process

The problem ONLY appears with that HDD . . . With another 320 GB HDD there's no problems !!

How can i resolve this problem ther's a solution

My PC specs :

OS : Win 8.1
CPU : i7 4790
RAM : 8 GB
GPU : MSI GTX 980

With XBMC 13 the problem is not present .

I would say throw up a debug log for a dev to look at, but I think it's an issue outside of Kodi.

From a hardware perspective you can try the following:

- Update drivers (particularly USB 3.0) and/or Windows
- remove 1TB HDD from case and connect via SATA to your motherboard
- Zero fill your 1TB HDD (this will completely wipe your HDD clean, no recovery from this)
