I recently upgraded to Kodi 15.1 Insengard. Ever since then, any movie that I stream from add-on sites, have disruptions via the stream e.g. quick picture freezing for a second with fast accelerated sound and then it slows down to normal. There is also a static sound that happens at times too, when the freezing etc. occurs. This happens may times, while watching streamed movies. When I ran Kodi Helix 14.2, I have zero problems. Kodi is running on a Windows 8.1 x64 system and there is plenty of internet bandwidth, so that isn't an issue.

Is anyone else experiencing the same problem and if so, how did you resolve it?

Actually now, its movies that I play on my local hard drive as well. It just happened while watching a movie locally. Is there a way to revert back to Kodi Helix 14.2 from 15.1 Insengard? This is very irritating.

I have the same issue (windows 7) I have only tested against local content, pic freeze, sound and subtitle continue. Then the video "fast forward" to the correct place (matching audio and subtile).
