Cannot browse to smb drive
#1
Something seems to have gone wrong with my installation of Kodi and I am unable to access my network drive. Strangely though, it only seemed to bother the music, which is on the same drive as my video content which I can still see fine.

I removed all my music but when I try and browse to the smb drive it shows as having no content.

I also tried installing Kodi on another linux computer and can see the drive fine on that one.

Any thoughts?

No thoughts - no Debug Log
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Ok, sorry.

Here you go:

Your debug kodi.log: http://xbmclogs.com/pb1f3b66k
Your debug kodi.old.log: http://xbmclogs.com/pj2kyncy2
Your XBMC crashlog: http://xbmclogs.com/pwfmhru9o

Thanks!

Ok, I've now tried completely removing KODI ('sudo apt-get remove kodi' and then 'sudo apt-get purge kodi') and reinstalling. All libraries were still there and the problem still happens - I can't access my network drive and attempting to play an mp3 file crashes kodi (which I assume happens because kodi can't see the location of the file).

Any suggestions?

Never mind, I installed Mint from fresh (not just because of this issue!) and all is fine again.
