Linux VNSI delay on linux installation

Brick
Hi all,

my htpc is an celeron nuc which works quite well with kodibuntu/kodi 15.1. But after kodi is started and vsni says it imports the channels it actually takes about 10sec before the channels begin to import. The import process itself only takes 2-3sec for my 53 channels. I've looked at the log file but I cannot see the cause:

This also seems to happen with openelec 5.0.8 and ubuntu mate with kodi 15.1.

On my windows system the channels get imported immediately:

Both installations are contacting an external vdr installation on my cubietruck. Hope somebody can help me Huh

Regards

Reinstalled Kodibuntu from scratch, still the same issue and I have no clue how to fix this. Now on version 15.2. Am I alone with this one?

I don't know what exactly is in OpenElec but 15.x was not a good release for pvr. I recommend this version:

(also runs on my Celeron in my living room)

Thanks for your answer! Tried the openelec build:

Sadly didn't fix it. Or do you mean the installation instructions with ubuntu server 15.10?

I compared your 2 logs from post #1. On LInux there is this line

09:47:36 T:139973942945536 INFO: PVRChannelGroupInternal - AddAndUpdateChannels - updated radio channel 'DASDING'

After this pvr is stuck for 10 sec. This line is missing on Windows. Did you try on a fresh install with no PVR databases?

Yes, I've made a fresh install with a clean PVR database. Also removed the radio channels (DASDING etc.) but it didn't help. Also tried different installations of Linux and Kodi. Always the same delay. Maybe it is related to my Intel Nuc itself - I don't know. But for the time being I simply will live with it. Otherwise everything works great and I don't want to lose Kodi.

Thanks for you suggestions!

Weird, my living room box runs Linux as well. If I experienced such kind of issues, I would be the first to fix it. Let me know how things develop.
