Hello all, thanks in advance for any help.
I set up an Asus M400U chromebox- standalone openelec for a media server- when setting up I put for the most recent stable firmware. When running it works great, however it has a problem waking up from standby (especially if sitting in standby for a while). When I go to wake it up (via remote, or keyboard/mouse) the tv screen shows static, then it flashes back and forth between static and a black screen- and never comes clear.
I thought the whole system wasnt booting up- however I set up my iphone as a remote for the box- and I can still control the box via the iphone with the flashing static screen, and if I tell it to restart, it will shutdown/restart and once booted up will be normal again.
Any ideas what could be wrong, if you need any other info let me know and I can provide it.
