Just after a little advice really.

Been running a couple of Android boxes now for a while but after reading about the HP 260 G1 I will be purchasing one this week for my HTPC and living room setup.

My question is not about windows or Kodi its about what remote controls people use?

I currently use an older version of (two of them infact):

Aswell as the obvious Yatse app (Simply amazing) and the Kore (App) on all our devices.

But I'm after something a little nicer than the little bluethooth keyboards more of a solution.

I have been looking at air mouse remotes and stuff on amazon, but a lot of them are IR and not sure how well they they work within kodi/windows?

Any advise is appretiated? What about Logitech harmonies? But I need a mouse function also.

You wont get a mouse on things other than BT or RF keyboard/mice. That device you linked to is an RF remote it will work the same as USB mouse/keyboard, it has an IR blaster but it will have to learn commands from another remote then repeats those commands to whatever IR device, the PC wont do anything unless it has an IR receiver and understands the commands. But seeing as your system is a PC to begin with the IR segment is of no use as it treats the device as regular USB mouse/keyboard.

If you were IR only then Flirc is your go to device which allows you to program almost any remote to work with Kodi.

Logitech Harmony's are IR and in some cases RF based but no mouse function.
