Does Kodi support 3D (not 2D) playback of MKV files?


I am very confused with Kodi and 3D.
I understand that I can play a 3D ISO in PowerDVD as an external player.

When I choose a 3D method (side by side) in Kodi it seems to convert the image to a perfect 2D image. Are you supposed to disable 3D in KODI and change tell your projector its a 3D file?

I want to play a 3D file in Kodi and not use PowerDVD>

thanks for the link. what i didnt see in there is if kodi can natively play 3d mkv. that post focuses on 2d internally but anything related to 3d internally. am i to assume than that kodi cannot play 3d internally, but only convert to 2d?

I followed this guide exactly last night.

None of the 3D mkv files play in 3D in either Kodi or PowerDVD. I dont understand what I need to do. Please help
