Im getting frustrated by not being able to get something going that seems so easy.

I've installed on my Mac and Windows ADBfire v1.30 and I followed all the steps

on the Mac I dragged it to the applications folder and everything looks fine.

I launch the app and then I select "new"

I enter the description and then I enter the appropriate IP address on my Fire Stick TV

When I hit "save" it takes me back to the main window but the ip address field is empty.

I tried all sorts of combinations and still I can't get the IP address to appear. Therefore when I click connect ....it doesn't because its blank.

I edit the same description and I see all the correct information but somehow it doesn't load properly in the main menu.


I've tried it on my windows computer but I still get the same results...not sure what I'm doing wrong.

It sounds to me like you don't have admin privs where you have stored the program. I get the same if I try to install in the Programs directory on windows but not if I just put it in the c:drive top level. Don't know about mac but the website says:
Mac users: if you don't have admin privs, drag the adbFire.app somewhere in your home folder.
