I was wondering if anyone has any input on how to change the screen resolution of an iPad 2 from 3:4 to 16:9 for airplay mirroring? Or if this is even possible? The problem I'm having is when using airplay from my iPad 2 via Apple TV3 I am getting major cropping on both sides of the TV. I have done some research and understand how to mirroring works (meaning if I mirrior 4:3 ratio to my tv then it will show up as a 4:3 ratio). I have also tried changing video settings in Kodi, the Apple TV3 and my Samsung TV but then realized it won't help due to the Apple TV3 Mirroring software. Is there any program/software that will change the resolution of my iPad2, or at least make the Apple TV3 think it is receiving a 16:9 ratio? Or does anyone know of another solution?
