v15 DVBLink PVR - Record not showing boxes correctly
#1
When I use this skin along with the DVBLink PVR Addin when I set a program to record the screen that normally shows whether you want series record has blank text area and radio buttons. Not sure whether this should be posted in the Skin section or the DVBLink PVR section - all works OK with the Confluence (Default) skin.

I don't use or have it, so hard to test, however as you could see in the other thread you posted, it sometimes is needed to fix the add-on, not the skin....

OK - this looks like someone else has had this issue with Amber but as yet no information on when needs to be modified in RecordPrefs.xml

Until Kodi 16 comes along skinners need specific series record dialog boxes for each and every PVR backend.

This thread on the DVBLink forum has a link to the Amber files which should work

This is going to be a pain to support, unless you are telling me that each PVR backend (WMC/DVB/Nextpvr) can use one common RecordPrefs.xml ?

Direct link to the amber version of RecordPrefs.xml

Can somebody test this with the current Isengard 15.1 / Amber release 2.1.2 and let me know ?

So I had a look at this, it seems all these add-ons are using the same file names, RecordPrefs.xml and DeleteTimer.xml those file for each type of PVR backend one changes the label (<label>$ADDON[pvr.dvblink 32014]</label>)

I suggest the add-on dev's of those PVR backends change the file name they use to include the name, so RecordPrefs-dvblink.xml etc. or else its a mess to support from the skin side of things, or even better, move those file to the addon folder.

I'm actually going to remove these two files as they are not provided for the default confluence skin either, a user can then copy those 2 files into the right folder depending on which add-on they want to use
