I have developed my own plugin. It gives back to Kodi listitems with just a name and an URL.
Until Kodi 15.1 when I played a (remote) file provided with my plugin, that URL was marked as "played". A "played" tick mark was displayed near the name and the contextual menu included a "mark as unplayed" entry. Good.
After upgrading to Kodi 15.1 I don't see that "played" tick mark and contextual menu shows "mark as played" anymore, even when the file is already played. More, when I select "mark as played" in the contextual menu the "played" tick mark is still missing and the contextual menu keeps saying "mark as played".
When playing content outside my plugin, like a local file in the harddisk, the "played" tick mark and the contextual menu behaves correctly.
Any hint about what is missing in my plugin to get back the right behaviour?.
